Life in Denver

Denver gives an oncologist the whole-career setting: trailheads for the decompression, 300 days of sun, and a direct-flight hub for every conference and every family visit. The city's growth means your patients — and your practice — aren't going anywhere.

About the role

Summit Ridge Cancer Institute is the mountain region's community-based oncology powerhouse: a QOPI-certified practice with on-site infusion (32 chairs), a CLIA-certified molecular lab, and a research arm that enrolled 240 patients to trials last year through our NCORP affiliation. We're adding a general hematologist/oncologist to a group of eleven as two senior partners transition toward retirement panels.

The practice model preserves what community oncology does best — you follow your patients across their disease course — while the institute's tumor boards (thoracic, GI, breast, heme) give you academic-caliber case review without academic bureaucracy. Advanced practice providers manage survivorship and same-day symptom clinics, keeping your schedule for the medicine that needs you.

Benign heme volume is negotiable to your interest; the anticoagulation clinic runs pharmacist-led. Denver's trailheads and direct flights round out a practice designed for a whole career, not a sprint.
